Hi All,

Finaly I get the Odysee & Vertical , DVD.
Movies are collection of the jumps made by BBC BASE guys (Berlin BASE Connection) through the three year time.
DVD have several sections: Slowmotions, Terrainflying, K.L., Wintergames, Garage jumping, Kjerag, Fuckups, Go fast.
All together Odysee&Vertical offers around 70 minutes of beautiful BASE.

I like a lot editing and music. Music is there to support the footage, and never stick out to loud or annoying.
On most of the small movies, which always offers small story, I couldn't believe what those BBC boys were able to get in to the frame!
Camera angle on some jumps and spots are just amazing ( Lauterbrunnen, Arco... )
There is a fantastic section '' Fuckups'', which every BASE jumper and his family must have! I was laughing like hell watching that part - Bravo Mirko!!!
Garage jumping is just surreal, while Wintergames offers some interesting ideas how to present the sport of BASE to public.

Movie is edited by Mirko Schmidt (the guy who mastered his skill in editing, working at Pro7, German TV as editor)
What really makes me happy is the fact that DVD came out from the guys who are jumping ''in silence'' and work hard.

DVD Odysee&Vertical is their work which is a MUST for every newbie and every BASE jumper.

I also just receive my copy of the DVD (thanks Mirko) and watched it with my house mate and we were completely impressed with it…..

Its AWESOME......

The quality of the footage and jumps are breathtaking….. Not to mention the good music selection (good aussies bands ) really makes this DVD standout from the rest..

I also have to agree with what Bosnian Bob had to say about it too. It has a whole range of footage from international base events to breathe taking terrain flights. Great use of different camera angles and positions as well…

I should also mention that Mirko did a fantastic job editing this DVD. Its unreal the amount effort and time he must have put into making this, and the end result is nothing less. This means that you’re not just getting a bunch of movies edited to music, but getting the story and the jumps in a full cinematic experience…

Well done again to Mirko and the BBC crew for bringing out this great DVD from their pass adventures over the years. These guys are great and doing a good job to promote our sport in a positive way………

i just watched my copy of the BBC Odysee & Vertical dvd and it blew me away. its the best dvd i have seen since 1st base all those years ago. the sound track is awesome and the footage is amazing. some of those camera angles were amazing to be able to stay in shot, and the terrain flying was...WOW. this dvd tells a beautiful story of what it feels like to fly and live your dreams. its a totally professional job and hats off to you mirko as the editing was beautiful, such a cool range of everything.
i cant see that another base jumping dvd will be able to match the quality of this one for a long long time.

To order is pretty easy. Just go to paypal.com , klick "send money", fill in bbc.mirko@gmail.com and your email, than the amont and hold your creditcard by the hands, you will need it...thats it! :)

If you don´t get it, just drop me a mail and we will handle it on another way. But this the cheapest way for you. A normal transaction cost a lot of extra cash, dude....

Your video is awesome, been watching it on a continuous loop since i got it. Showed my wuffo mates, and they are ordering copies. The fact that they, who only appreciate the aesthetic aspect loved it as much as me speaks volumes. The music is great, keep getting tunes in my head from it while i'm working and buzzing out.
Who is the girl in the video, think she is part of the BBC? Petite thing with shoulder length blond hair. If you can get me her number, The ahoy's are on me.

i got your dvd a couple of weeks ago. i put it on immediately at my house with a room full of non-jumping crew. i don't know who was more blown away, them or me. i have seen you live in action so i already knew that you were stylely, loose and talented, but you have done an epic job in putting your adventures into a legendary dvd. the editing, the soundtrack and the camera angles are all truely impressive. it has been watched many times since - every time it makes me smile and gives me itchy feet.

favourite moment has to be mirko's face when the three of them sail off on the tube... priceless

don't know what else to say my friend, just that i was glad to join you on some of the ride. can't wait to witness what you up up to next year.

Hey Fellas!
Still grooving on your DVD, getting another 3 copies for my family, since I am too lazy to edit my own movie. i just say I am the blond guy in it, keeps it vague. Is the BBC affiliated with the GBA? Those are some friendly guys, gave me t-shirts, a beer holder, a poster of Harry, and a vibrating drink mixer. I think it's a drink mixer anyway, the rabbit holds it on the edge of the glass.
