Paul Seamann, director of operations for Jan-Care Ambulance, said 10 BASE jumpers were injured Saturday. Eight required transportation to local hospitals, and two refused treatment. At the bridge’s top, three spectators were taken to hospitals. Two experienced general medical problems, and one apparently had a severe allergic reaction.

We're never surprised when they get the numbers wrong....

There were 7 jumpers transported to the hospital (my wife maintains accurate stats on this). Normally we have LESS than 10 each year, not 10-20. Jan Care sometimes likes to lump jumper and spectator transports together.

I even heard on the local news that we made 877 jumps this year, as if the real tally of 876 jumps wasn't a significant number. And last week, a local paper had Bill Bird's picture along with my name......and that's only naming a few.
