hi

i'm thinking about driving down to bridge day to spectate for the day. i would probably be arriving sometime late friday night/early sat morning. i'm guessing it's almost impossible to get a hotel room at this point? is there a place to pitch a tent nearby? i'd also like to get a decent spot to watch from, how early should i show up?

You can camp at the holiday inn, and I'm sure a couple other places. If you pay them, they let you use the showers in the building.

They block access to the bridge until ~7-8am... I think...

In a thread on these forums someone is trying to sell his hotel room at the Holiday Inn, since he can't make it... Do a bit of searching if you want his room.
