Re: [awest] vibes in lauterbrunnen?
Organized jumping! Just the word makes it creep down the neck on BASE jumpers, but if the valley is about to get closed for basejumpers, there is no other way to go!
Stein and the Norwegian BASE association took hand on the issue in Kjerag, and I personally think that saved the place in many ways! As a local, I know in the future it will hit Romsdalen to, we are about to experience more and more jumpers, and the time is changing. We tried to keep low key on Romsdalen for a long time, but now we go big time. The locals see now how important it is for the business and tourism! Just the increase tourists for Lysebotn after jumpers made it world wide known is huge. Maybe some statistic would please the locals in Lauterbrunnen, and they will see the possibility in the future!
Edit note! It was not the increase in BASE jumpers I was talking about! But increase of "normal" tourists!
excuse me for my english, do not have time for spell check.
