Im sure many people fly a V2 on this site, but back in the day when you were flying an S3, did you have a leg pouch, or did you use your BOC? Ive used BOC for 85 skydives with no problem, but ive heard varied opinions for it base jumping.

  It's an individual and personal call. Either way you should not miss and not compromise body position. And be safe.

never done WS BASE, but i have ~50 V1 jumps, half with the leg pouch, half without. i prefer the leg pouch, but the shrivel flap is not quickly changed from bridal to bridal. I have the suit hooked up for my first WS BASE, useing the leg pouch.

you remember yellow S3 i used to use for skydive and for BASE. BOC only, always comfortable and easy. Even on my very few low-pull jumps was ok to find and pull qickly.

I have used both, BOC and pouch, in base jumping and skydiving. For base jumping I would still recommend using the pouch if you think there's any chance the wing getting between your hand and the PC. Just do enough jumps with using pouch from plane. In my S3S the location of the pouch was uncomfortably low (long wing), so i had to really reach down my leg to reach and pull the pc in the way the pouch was oriented. The pouch was also a tad small for base pc. In my new V2 it's just at the right spot (a bit shorter wing).
