Some guys ingluding felix jumped from Meteora cliffs. But ther is also a bridge (100m) near the aeria.
Meteora is my home town so if you need anything just say it.

I was in Meteora about 3 years back - taking a break from bad paragliding weather actually. Bumped into the "Soul Flyers" crew (minus Loic) who jumped one of the cliffs near the main monastry. They had to climb (using ropes) up part of the back to the top; the exit itself was slightly positive so needed a running exit (although was overhung after the the top lip). Delay was 4s slider up. Landing was on one of the paths.

They made the jump at dusk - in part to ensure people weren't around on the paths, but certainly to avoid attracting too much attention. The canopy cracks set the local dogs off though.

Well ...Nobody in Greece does base jumping... So, I don’t thing that there is such a mater! You can jump from everywhere you like (accept) monasteries and nobody is going to notice...After all..Dont forget what you are in Greece...

Interesting that you think that. Perhaps it's just that you don't know anyone who's BASE jumping in Greece?

Listen...There are about 65 persons that skydive in Greece and belive me...I know all of them.. Including Christophe that he is a base jumper but never base jump in Greece! So..If you know someone else....

so my Wife and I are heading to Zakynthos Island in 3 weeks, is there anything else to jump in the area besides the obvious? any locals?

yeah man, we'll be at that exit point in less than 3 weeks. we wanna' know if there is anything else to jump in the Nation of Greece?! we'll be there for almost 2 weeks. all Greece posts on this site die after 1 or no responses, the facebook BASE Greece site lists 550 fans, no response there either. there's gotta be some other shit to jump. and yes, i'm Hank, I know where the climbing is. looking for jumps and ANY other jumpers that know Greece. Fully appreciated and we can't wait!!!

Now, 3 years later, there is a handful community of base jumpers in Greece.
But i am sure you already know that.
So read before you post about burns..
