UK Pro BASE Crane Boogie 2007/2 registration is open
UK Pro BASE is holding its second legal crane boogie this year on the 6th and 7th of October, just outside London, and it would be great if lots of our friends from overseas could come too. The crane is 300 ft (100 m) and the cost of £150 includes the hire of the crane, 3rd party insurance, a t-shirt and a hog roast on the saturday evening.

Registration for the UK Pro BASE Crane Boogie 2007/2 has closed. Unfortunately the interest for this event has not met our expectations and we are left severely short on numbers. We do not have nearly enough jumpers registered to cover our costs for a Crane Boogie at this time, so therefore it is with great regret that we have to announce that UK Pro BASE Crane Boogie 2007/2 is CANCELLED.

We’re sorry that we have to break this news, but as you know, we are not a wealthy organisation and we do not have the resources to carry this event at a loss. Please accept our apologies for those who have made travel plans and booked flights etc.

All those who registered will still receive a T-shirt and we will work out how best to get refunds on our deposits so that all who have shown the commitment and signed up get as good a refund as possible. I will be in touch over the next few days with how we plan to do this.

Again, please accept our apologies and I hope that this has not weakened your faith in UK Pro BASE and the vision for the future we are trying to make a reality. We are still working hard to create new and exciting BASE jumping events and we hope that 2008 will be bigger and better.
