Will you be landing in the water? Or do you want to land dry?

Landing in the water gives you a lot more latitude.

Excellent question....right now that will be decided by the level of the river & the size canopy I will be jumping.

If you want to land dry, I'd try to find the biggest canopy you can rent. The largest rental I've got left, for example, is a 280, which is not going to be a good choice for you if you want to land dry. Maybe call Apex and see if they have a really large canopy left for rent, since they have the largest rental inventory.

If you're landing in the water, almost anything will do. You can jump a very undersized canopy for that, and still be ok. Basically anything that is approved for Bridge Day is going to be fine for an intentional water landing. Still get the biggest thing you can (in case something goes wrong and you don't end up in the water), but don't stress too much on it.
