I approve as well, being a dutchie. Just 3 snags: 1) a 23 km boat ride. 2) salt water landing 3) not sure if access is possible (unfortunately, the dutch tend to lock up things once completed) Ronald
yea...that type. height of 88 metres...ladders inside. when you are up, its very shaky, but duable. you have to climb over the generator to the rooftop...then you have to hold a bit beacause of the shake... Sometimes they stop and then you got better chance to jump because you dont have to hold on to anything...
yeah, but being hit by a huge spinning blade would result in a pretty spectacular death.
Wouldn't it though!
You know what would be cool ? If a skydiver was was standing in front of the wind mill with the blades turning and you walked up to him and pulled the reserve ripcord and the reserve launched and got sucked into the blades... yeah, that would be cool.
"My Room mate works on them and said if they are not in shut down mode, being inside will kill you. "
?? Why? AFAIK there is no danger from electromagnetic fields generated by the turbine, so it can only be the moving parts inside (shaft). I have jumped some moving wind turbines without problem. Ronald
