In case of a slider up lineover would you grab your toggles and try to gain control of your canopy and release your steeringlines in case this doesn´t work or wouldn´t you waste any time, release them immediately and go for your rears?

Most cases with lineovers slider up they clear themselves, and we happily do not know about them! I wish Ann Halliwell would post some of her study from KL jumping!

What I would do if I had a line over, release brakes and try to pump it out, if not work, go on back risers to gain controll. I would in most cases not have time to use my hook knife, but if I had the altitude I would try a couple of pumps on the brakes!

If so, what method were you using?

I've had two slider up line overs. On the first one, I was in a high speed spin and I pumped my brakes every time I faced away from the antenna. It cleared after a few high speed spins with pumping of both brakes. On another jump, I pulled down just on the toggle for the side with the lineover. The spin speeded up significantly but it cleared on the first spin. I use a break line control now to prevent these line overs and the WLO toggle system.

I've had 3 line overs BASE Jumping on old skydivng rigs so we did not have the line mods. I cleared 2 of them by pulling both toggels below the hips in deep stall and then letting them up. Repeat if needed. We used to call that "pumping the steering lines" and usually works. This depressurizes the end cells and allows the tightened steering lines to pop off of the top. Works very vell. If it doesn't work, just do the best PLF you can do, bend over and kiss your ass.

I have video of a line over, slider down, with a tailgate (good pack job, experienced jumper, good deployment position).

Is it online some where to be downloaded?

No. I don't have the jumpers permission to distribute it.
