Since when are any of these activities "federal purposes"? neyh, fuck it. If you ignore your freedom it will just go away. Thus one has two choices, either fight back or leave. Or remain passive and "watch, wait, look, keep track of, keep an eye on, really consider, think about, analyze, talk about" the problems... and sure enough... it'll make no difference in the end results.

I wonder how soon until the RFID chips get implanted into -all- people... as proposed legislation to put them into some people already exists.

I would rather live in a country with a real threat of terrorist attack than have to live under this Nazi-like government. And in this case, our rights have eroded quicker than they did under the Nazi regime.

The massive spying program of the NSA is actually real. I was considering a job change and I noticed the NSA posting jobs for massive data mining on U.S. citizens. This was before the spying program was publicly acknowledged.

I foresee a new career opportunity for the very computer savy: hacking their computer systems to hide identities of those who feel they shouldn't be tracked.

"I work for the government. Trust me."

How do BASE jumpers say f*ck you? "Trust me."

Do you realize that having to use a passport or federal ID makes you incredibly vunerable? If you get into trouble as U.S. citizen in Mexico, there can be some incredibly bad consequences. One person I know of was tortured by the police using boiling water. They took his passport and driver's license. This U.S. citizen found it nearly impossible to reeenter his own country without his "papers."

Yeah, God forbid the terrorists have a picnic instead of blowing things up.
