Nanny Cams for Towers
I was out installing a few of these remote cameras at some tower sites recently. The customer I was working for is trying the units out to curb copper bandits that cause 10's of thousands of dollars in damage weekly robbing copper off of their tower sites. They feed over an cellphone built into the unit to a DVR at their "Operations Center" states away, that way they can go back and review video if they have a problem. They can control the cameras in real time if someone is "really" monitoring them. The cameras have motion sensing detection(if set), remote alarming, and no shit, WiFi too, just in case the bandits bring a notebook or PDA I guess.
