benefits to buying a product that is well known...

located in europe, I am well aware of the gears used here and why these gears are popular.
I was curious about similar info from the US.

my skydiving experience taught me that most of the time popular = reliable

yes I plan to buy a gear. I will move to the US shortly, I consequently have the option to buy either in europe or in the US.
