Re: [nicknitro71] Experience of BASE 'instructors'?
OK, that's interesting.
At least one of your other personalities thinks otherwise, as when I inquired about his experience through the EG website, I got this email in response:
In reply to:
"Hi Sam,
If you feel you need to question my expertise I'd suggest you tell your friends to learn from BASE gods thing that I am not!
But if that is really needed:
14 years of skydiving with many of the USPA ratings.
My fist BASE was in 1996 however I have been a very active BASE jumper since 2002.
Master Rigger back and chest.
Private pilot.
Owner of EG wingsuits.
I do not log anything including flight time so I cannot tell you for sure how many BASE, skydives, or hours of flight I have.
I can only tell you what I can do in the BASE contest...most aerials, all unpacked jumps, WS, BASE swoop, BASE CRW, and I can rig virtually anything to do stupid things in the air.
As for teaching that's my real job, I am a college professor in Neuroscience.
Most of all I lead by example, I jump with my students on every jump, hike back with them, and have a good time and most of all bust their balls!
I am not teaching anybody how to BASE, the BASE gods do that...but sure they will have a ball with me!
Later
Nick Rugai"
I'm sorry, I must be confused. The BASE course that you charge for and is advertised on the website gave me the impression that you were offering to teach BASE for compensation.
