Yup, China
I have just moved to northwestern China from Colorado. Anybody have any experience they would like to share. I get the feeling nobodys ever heard of BASE in this country.

Shoot me an email if you would like to talk.

You realize you are right next to Kazakhstan ? !!!

I visted China a month ago, and every city had buildings and cranes galore. Also the Yangtze river
has a fuckload of 200ft+ bridges with 300ft+ pylons.... too bad all were water landings... Plenty of gorge walls there too, but i have no idea how the hikes would be and again, you definately need a boat. Oh and Guiness states a 1000ft+ Power Tower with an elevator by the 3 Gorges Dam (i doubt its site naming) - but that's a hell of a distance to travel from Urumqi...

good luck

Do you fly wingsuit? China has some most amazing arches in the world. Somebody gotta do it! Smile

I don't fly a wingsuit, someday.

That arch you are talking about is south of me 20 hours by rail. I got a few emails into the Exum Mountaineers who climbed it recently to see what they thought about exiting from it. I don't know how base friendly those guys are? The rumor is it is in the department of 1200' tall. I hope to make it there to at least see the thing some time soon.
