Re: [ggdwhitney] how high can you jump from

25 feet ... but then i am EXTREME .... TongueTongueTongueTongue

What is the point of this question ???

... If it's how high can you jump into water without killing yourself without a parachute - then i'd suggest you check out some cliff-diving or high diving websites ...

Water becomes as hard as concrete if you hit it from high enough ...

That's why i try to jump over concrete - then i don't have to worry if i'm too low .... TongueTongueTongue

Re: [ggdwhitney] how high can you jump from
as high as you want, once.

but to live through it, pretty high. and it depends on a LOT of things.

anywhere from build of the person, their skill to the salinity of the water.

you could break your neck from 25', or you could walk away from a 150' jump.

it depends.

but yeah, why do you ask?

Re: [ggdwhitney] how high can you jump from
I've seen a tv show a year ago, it was about extreme diving competitions which if I remember good was from a 70meter/210feet platform over a river. But these dudes we're previously to that world champs which I don't think you are so don't even think about it.

But yeah, if I was skydiving and both chutes wouldn't come out, I'd shoot for the lac and go standing at the last couple of seconds... Yeah I'd probably die Pirate

edit/add: Calvin, what does the salinity of water have to do with this??? Is it less dense of something like that?

Re: [UPS] how high can you jump from
yeah, the salinity of water changes its density. (it increases with more salt)

but of course, it probably does not matter more than a hundreth of a percent when it comes to impact.

of course, a much bigger factor would be the stability of the water, as in if it was a white water waterfall impact point (as in 30% of the volume of the water was air from agitation)

Life or Death 50% statistically for the whole population is 90 feet over water according to ER statistics. A trained diver can do much better. If the water bubbling heavily, then a much high distance is possible. The heavily bubbling water method is used by hot dog snow skiers for training so they can hone their acrobatics without killing themselves on a slope.

Re: [460] how high can you jump from
I regularly jump from the 10 meter platform, but I've seen guys get hurt from the 7 meter. I'm sure it just depends on the skill level.

Re: [460] how high can you jump from
that of course is only for the ones that go to the er.

I have seen in person a fat bitches thighs, um, hemorage massively(explode) from 60'.

thats what drunk fat people get at lake powell.

i had no sympathy.

Re: [Calvin19] how high can you jump from
my highest jump without a parachute was from 27m. a few years later a famous energy drink producer used the same exit for a well known cliff diving event.

i had a perfect position for diving in, but my body tension was to weak, so i hurt my knee and had to get my boardshort out of my ass... LaughSlyBlush

how high can you get me?

Re: [ggdwhitney] how high can you jump from
I do 30feet into water all the time in summer, seems there is a bridge down the street from my house.

I know of a 60foot drop into water that people do all the time as well but I haven't gone out there to check it out yet.

Re: [Faber] how high can you jump from
a person died at my local pool, d00d had some mental issues and belly flopped off 10m went to hospital, internal injury's later died.

I've had water shoop up my ass at 7m and felt like I was dieing, worst pain ever, then 10 minutes later felt like I was never in pain.

100ft should be alright if ya land correctly, I suggest a wetsuit and shoes lol. wetsuit socks that go on the outside of ya wetsuit so the water can't shoot up ya legs and up ya ass.
there is plenty of vids on youtube of people jumping the 60ft to 100ft range
how ever it's best to work ya way up, nothing worse then going head down after 50ft lol
