you seem to be be missing the point. we love our friends more than our equipment. if trashing my only BASE canopy keeps me out of the hospital, cool. gear is easily replaced.
friends are not. it is NO fun carrying out an injured jumper. visits to the hospital or morgue are VERY serious. this forum is reserved for serious events.
your post trivializes this forum. is that what you intended?

When I saw your thread title "Fatality @ the Perrine" my first thought was I hope it wasn't one of my friends who are out there. My second thought was how much it sucked being there when someone died. Then I started reading the thread and realized it was a lame joke. Well Andrew you fooled me into thinking one of my friends or someone else in our sport might be dead. Bravo.
