Best (and cheapest) Terminal Trips
I was just wondering what people wound up spending on trips to various european terminal walls. Ive heard Norway is incredibly expensive, but how about ITW or the swiss valley? Im a poor poor student on a limited budget with a two week break in april to try to travel and have some fun.

For me, it comes to about $3k a month anywhere in Europe, plus whatever air tickets to get here.

is these walls recommended for a person with 16 jumps??

no, they can be technical. europe is better since there are easier (but potentially very long hikes) and less technical jumps there.

...and so can the Swiss Valley. Norway and ITW are probably the best options at that experience level. Be warned - there are many technical walls in Europe.

ITW can be expensive too if you don't have someone to share the €40 taxi fare with!

agreed, the swiss valley has been the undoing of several jumpers. sure is beautiful there from the pictures. i hope i can visit there in the next couple years.

itw has taken the lives of several jumpers. but as a technical jump, it's pretty simple if the winds and light are you aren't too low in the talus bowl. i once opened up and just hung there until i was about 100 feet above the talus. and then i came out of the bowl and took off like a rocket and made it back to the landing area. that experience was pretty scary.
