Nice generic disclaimer for skydiving gear. Not saying it's not legit, but the seller doesn't appear to know what they have - which has been indicative in the past of someone trying to pawn off a stolen rig.

By definition, hinky means gut instinct - it ain't an exact science. But it won't kill anyone for the ad to be scrutinized, just incase.

The way the rig is laid out for flat packing or rigger rolling I'd say this person has some skydiving experience...it even looks from the pic like that would be where the person packs in their house.

you have a good point BUT only someone that knows very little would undo the legstraps like that.!!!

Another possibility ( Jason Bell can probably verify this), is that the gear belongs to an annual BD jumper. There are jumpers that only jump at BD every year and no other objects. They also usually hire a rigger to pack prior to the event.
