Modifying a Mojo
I'm sure somebody has modified a mojo, since they've been around for such a long time.

just curious if anybody has had particular luck putting vents on one.

any replies are appreciated.

Re: [AndrewKarnowski] Modifying a Mojo
We put vents in a Mojo when the Fox first came out with them. It appeared to have no affect on it. The Mojo was an amazing opening canopy to begin with. We did lose a bit of performance on the very deep brake approaches. My advice would be NOT to do it.

Add: it was a 280

Re: [AndrewKarnowski] Modifying a Mojo
Try calling Adam at CR. I know he had feedback from a couple people who did it.

When I spoke to him, his general opinion was about the same as Lonnie's. If you want a Mojo, jump a Mojo--if you want secondary inlets, get a Blackjack.

Re: [TomAiello] Modifying a Mojo
based on the two comments I probably won't end up doing it. Pete shoved the crazy idea in my head... never had a problem with my mojo minus the vents, and if it doesn't help that much why try it.

Re: [AndrewKarnowski] Modifying a Mojo
Lonnie, send me a PM. I would like to see what you did with the canopy, which style vents you used, etc. I have modified a non-vented canopy into a vented/valved canopy, and the result is much better than the current production model. I cannot imagine how quality vents/valves would not significantly improve the opening of the canopy, especially one like the Mojo.

As far as I know, the Mojack is going to be worked on within the next week. The results will be posted that first night.

my mojo opens great, although it does have lots of vents in it... they just don't happen to be intentionally installed.
