my dearest sister has posted some things here like her 'Tao, and the art of jumping off cliffs' essay. she also is an extremely tallented artist.

here is some of her stuff. (only 1% of here work is BASE related)

the B/W is a tribute to Clint Ford, a BASE jumper who died in an airplane crash in moab. the Wingsuit/butterfly is prepping for a wingsuit skydive, and the final wingsuit abstract is a really scary close call off a 2000' A.

i kinda manage selling her stuff... i dont know if anyone is interested. PM me if so.

The second and third ones are fucking awesome.

All three are pretty cool. #1 appears to be inspired by "Mottob Larenim" while #2 and #3 are obviously wingsuit inspirations.

#1 is my fav.

yeah man! good job recognising the terrian. it was my first WS jump, a dream i had. D let me jump his suit, and i thought i looked so freaking cool. i had to have them take a pic of me.

thats exactly what it is.

it is the late jumper, Clint Ford. I never met him, but some guys that i really respect and that taught me, told me his story. and he is one of my heros. i passed the story on to my sister, who i share my stories with a lot. and a week later, that was leaning against my wall.

I don't consider myself an artist, but I do like to dabble in graphic design. Here's a project I've been working on for the past few months. I put a lot of time and effort into it and I have to say I'm pretty happy with how it came out. If anyone is interested in buying a print, let me know and we can work something out.

what are you asking for for a 68" print?

After further reflection, I've decided not to denigrate my work by putting a price on it. The adulation of the masses is compensation enough. I just hope it is an inspiration to some budding artist out there.

i completely respect your willingness to keep the value in original artworks. your talent impressed me a lot. however, since the copy you posted is fairly high res, I copied it, and am making prints to sell for my own profit. sucks for you

The simplicity of colour and clean lines of the uncluttered geometry are highly evocative of the jumper's urge to escape from the complexity of modern society.
