Yo, i'm moving to victoria bc in july and will be fresh off a FJC and wondering if anyone around to learn from. If not i'll have to stick around here to learn from peeps at my local DZ for the summer. Really want to move out there though, but don't want to start jumping alone and kill myself!

Vancouver is a hop-and-a-skip away on the ferry. PM me some references and background and we'll work something out.

I don't know of any jumpers on the island, but there's some good folks over here in Vancouver.

I doubt there are very many good sites on the island as a whole unfortunately; no not much urban stuff is high enough, and also not very much in the way of sheer cliffs. I lived in Victoria for my first 22 years, so I can help you out with potential locations though; there are a few that are at least worth checking out (and I'm always looking for excuses to go for hikes back home).
