Once again as it is this time of year it was the time to open up the Finnish big wall season 2007. Last weekend as the weather turned out to be totally calm but a bit cold (-20 C) we decided to hike out to our local big wall and get the season going. 2 jumps were made from our local wall and the jumps were pure awesomeness ! Cool proximity flying less than meter away from the underhung wall with low openings and ~3s canopy rides, just enough time to unstow toggles and shlare the tarp. Weather was beautiful, jumps were fun and the company was good... Just what BASE is all about.

i will take the suprise. fastpete told me that in may last year in lauterbrunnen. it´s about 48 metres pca jumpable.

Heh, you got us there. :) But it is not 48 meters... It's about 40'ish but still... You got to use what you got. :) Big is a relative thing. :) And here's the video http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/...aari/FINbigwalls.wmv. Enjoy. We certainly did. :)

Very nice proximity flying. I even saw some mountainside swoops with the fabric of the canopy.

I think that should be Finnish big balls season 2007...

To quote some infamous garage girrrrlz,

"she's got so much clit, she don't need no balls!"

since I believe two of those jumpers most certainly didn't have balls!
