I know a BASE jumper that got to hang out with him, learn from him and jump with him. And then recently saw another BASE jumper post about jumping with him, and just now found out that another BASE jumper I have met was there when he died and jumped the system right before he died. I'm wondering if anyone else got to jump with him or learn from him, and/or if anyone has any stories they want to share?

My dad used to climb with him and he hung around our house a little bit, but that was it.

I know a few guys who knew him fairly well. i never had the pleasure sadly. they are BASE jumpers, but i dont know if dano Base hoped with them.
