Twin Falls county recently repealed the ordinance that banned selling hard liquor on Sunday. Just thought you guys would like to know. Especially if you're jumping over New Years. Basejumper.com - archive

I thought they already did. Sundays and holidays = beer/wine only days. Upon my first visit I was pissed, then I recognized that Idaho allows us to jump without question. I'll give up bourbon for a day or two for that. nic

nicrussell, by saying they've repealed the law banning it, it means they are now ALLOWED to sell hard liquor on Sunday

May I ask what is the rationale behind this law? It's OK to be 18 and getting killed in Iraq but god forbid drinking on a Sunday!

In West Virginia, you are not allowed to buy liquor after 10 PM all week long. You cannot buy beer after 2 AM all week long. Then you cannot buy any alcohol before 1 PM on Sundays. The worst part is... they banned Everclear grain alcohol a year back or so. Whn I was in high school, you could get 30 people all sorts of F'd up on one bottle for like 13 bucks! That stuff is 190 Proof, that is 95% alcohol by volume! Man I miss the jungle juice days!

god doesnt like a lot of the things we like to do, but this is something for bonfire. but i got banned from there.

I hear ya! Funny how I have a few shots of Vodka left in the bottle and almost a full bottle of Kaluha...
I guess after a few white russians I get ballsy and just start doing shots.
I need more vodka.... I better get to the store before 10.... lol
On a sadder note, It is always two thirty in the morning when I run out of beer and realize what time it is. Homer Simpson would be ashamed to know me.

you got it ALMOST right:
it's ok to be driving SUVs that weigh up to 2 tons when you are 16,
it's ok to get killed for your country in *pick a country at least 2000 miles from the US*
but it's not ok to have a beer until you are 21 (and we are not even talking sundays yet)
