***I wanna first let you I know nothing about BASE jumping and should not be considered someone who is giving advice, I am only expressing an opinion. I dont think there has been a thread on this before, I did a search and found nothing but if there has been then disregard this.

I was watching some BASE videos(which I find really cool) on skydivingmovies.com and came across this one and was kinda shocked.

How the hell could he have the experience level to be a BASE jumper after so little canopy time?

IMHO the father is not only an irresponsible parent but also an irresponsible BASE jumper who is endangering not only his son but the sport of BASE as a whole.

This is shocking to me as a beginner skydiver but maybe this accepted in the BASE community, I have no idea.

As far as I know...its definatley not something suggested/recommended/endorsed by any BASE community.
