I know that several people have asked where they can get a copy of the Team Bautasten USA Roadtrip video. The trip (and some of the video) was discussed in the threads here and here, as well as in some other places.

There was a big discussion on here about the video, with a link to the trailer, but unfortunately I am having trouble finding it. Does anyone else remember what thread it was in?

I've just heard that the video has been re-released (the original production run of DVD's was very small, and was all mailed out to friends, not sold), because so many other people wanted to see it. You can get it from Triax.

This video is, in my opinion, a good view of all that is right with BASE. It's basically three super experienced jumpers out having a good time, and not taking themselves too seriously. It's got great cinematography, funny dialogue, and good production. What it doesn't have is a bunch of "look at how rad I am!"

I found the SuperSwede segment and the "We claim this tower for Sweden" segments particularly amusing.

Definitely not to be missed.

A few people have posted about shipping. All DVDs ordered over the weekend will go out on Monday. I also noticed a glitch in our shipping program and current prices are only $1.80 per DVD USPS priority around the world. We will honor all DVDs ordered at this price through the weekend. On Monday our Webmaster will make the change. So I guess its a SALE!

what is the format of the DVD - will i be able to watch it on my dvd player in europe?

You get a PAL version AND an NTSC version with each of these DVDs. They will work on any properly functioning DVD player in the world.

There is a sertain glow around the mythology of the Superswede. Independent sources have claimed him to be somewere among us, dressed as a normal human being, in a undercover alter ego.

CIA, FBI and Swedish Police of security SÄPO have claimed that this is wrong that he is only a mindghost or a fantasy for sub cultures and intelectual left wing student groups. Pictures have been found and published but are they fake or real, no one knows.

This poster is for all the fans and all you that stil hope there is a protector of good things and the swedish way of living.

Anbody who doubts is a fool. There I was in the landing area at a certain popular Norwegian location when I looked toward the exit point and saw the attached. Now, it's a video capture, and it's been zoomed in, and the quality isn't that great... But seriously, it's undeniably authentic, and its unmistakable.

hahaha.. yes, this vid rocks! It was nice to meet you and I had a great time in lysebotn... with the cowboy hat!!! I'll PM you some of the shots

That is a rather authentic picture, It might not prove the excistance of the caracter, but it is a straight on shot. and the flag and the undies tells the story, but Im pretty sure that the Superswede har a more firm butt than that. I meen Buns of STEEL! that makes me doubth.

I just received my copy from Triax, fast shipping as usual . Great film with amazing camera work and editing! I didn't realize there were subtitles til after watching it the first time , so I had to watch it again . Good work guys!

Actionfigures is a kapitalistic way to extract more money from fans. In swedish manner we are in a true socialistic way more up for non kapitalistic ways of support. I bet the superswede would be better of coming to schools and offices and give workshops.

He could probably give workshops in:

- Rescue (heroic, one man rescue missions)
- Good manners (in swedish Jante-law way of thinking)
- Respect and trust in friends (lots of grouphugs)
- pacifistic and neutral warfair (No war, No war, No war)
- Turn the other cheek filosofy (some slapping involved)


And offcource this is all for free.

But Im sure the Superswede is flatterd by the request of an actionfigure.
