Why spend 350 bucks to learn what Maggot can teach you for free?

Maggot will be running a BASE course at BD.

The course includes packing, a few packed and unpacked jumps from a 240 S and few from a 300 A and of course the jumps at BD.

The course will also prepare you to make your first aerial off the famous S if you so desire.

The course won't include BASE history or ethics or other non-relevant BS, as per Maggot.

The course will also put lots of emphasis in CANOPY CONTROL a thing that many other instructors cannot offer because in all honesty they have no clue how to fly a tarp, as per Maggot. Maggot with his over 6000 canopy flights is more than qualified to teach you how to fly a tarp and survive landings w/out broken bones.

Maggot cannot provide you with gear, you must bring your own.

Oh good - a Bridge Day thread. I was looking for a place to announce a new drink being served this year at the Rafter's Bar:

The "Line-Over on the Rocks"

1. Place Cubed Ice in a Towel and Fracture with a Hammer, add to Tumbler.

2. Add one Ripped to Shreds Lime.

3. Add two shots of Bloody Mary Mix.

4. Add one shot of Mad-Dog 20-20.

5. Add two Jiggers of Battery.
(Battery is a Guarana based energy drink, powered by caffeine.)

5. Add Tabasco to Taste.

6. Fill with Rock & Rye.
(An American rye whiskey flavored with different fruits. Each bottle of Rock and Rye has a chunk of rock candy in it.)

Note: You can substitute Jack Daniels for the Rock & Rye – but then it's called a, "Line-Over on the Rocks with a Line Twist."

you know after my first base jump at bd04 i said that was fun but not for me too scary but now that our good buddy maggot is offering this class maybe ill take him up on it. and its even better, i didnt want to get all this base gear so last time we all used skydiving gear but now since he is offering unpacked jumps as an option maybe he can teach me how to tard and roll over my cha-hos! then i can swoop the shit outta the river! thanks maggot, where do i sign up?

I would really like to take such a class, mostly because of Maggot's acclaim and renown (especially in the area of object strike avoidance). However, I require, and almost demand, that the most important part of the syllabus not be overlooked: An Intro to Ninja Skills. Maggot's 'Ninja 101' per se.. also, 'History and Ethics of Ninjas' would be good. Or at the very least a brief 'Ninjas for Dummies' lecture. How could Magot ever do such a course without addressing such pivotal and relevant issues? Exactly.

What about guns? Are guns included as well?

All this rock talk with no guns is like a strip club where they leave the bottoms on....BORING!!!

u cant base with out a loaded gun what if u have to shoot pigs while there caseing u if they cach u they will steal your drugs and take your gear.

I agree with u there will be a class on how to tag your own and other peoiples objects ninja sword fighting on the top of objects and of corse day blazeing and burning sites i will aso be giving out free stikers that say base site for u to tag with

To prospective students: to enroll in Maggot's FJC, you need to study the basics of ninja moves. This is an essential skill in urban BASE. Here is a video Maggot put together for the students (this is instead of "packing video" usually sent to students before the course... you don't need to pack to BASE jump!)
