There have been a lot of comments about a trip to angel falls this year in many different BASE forums Around Europe, and I was wondering if any of you know something about it. Apparently is organized by a Venezuelan guy and a British filmmaker. I’m very interested but I would like to get some Comments before taking any decision.

Apex organizes trips to a large waterfall in a socialist country in South America...

Yes, there are becoming a socialist state, still with lots of resources, and great places for jumping, including infinity new sites, especially if you wingsuit. People are friendly and open to all foreigners no matter their origin, but naturally, like anyone else in the world they hate Bush and the US government. Well I don’t give a shit about bull crap politics.

I already checked the site mentioned and they don’t have a trip scheduled for this year?

I’ve been checking the net and I haven’t found a trip for this year, the only one doing it are Ernesto Gainza (Ven) & Leo Dickinson (Brit). The trip is not particularly cheap but it seems complete... but I don’t really know…… a bit of a tricky decision.
