Plug Adapters for Europe
Last time i went to europe i bought a plug adapter for my camera charger. When i got over there it didnt work. Luckly my German friend had an extra one for me. Well i lost that one and i dont want to make the same mistake i made before. Does anybody know the exact name of the type of plug adapter that will work over there?

Re: [Trebec] Plug Adapters for Europe
what adapter did you get ? You need some kind of "multiplug" if you travel to different countries, as there is no European standard plug.

if you don't know what to get, just wait until you land in that country and go to the airport magazine shop--they'll hook you up.

just cut the female end off of an old extension cord leaving about 4-6" of wire. trim the ends back about 3/4" and then just stick them in the outlet.
it will work everywhere, even the US.Wink

Re: [Zettel] Plug Adapters for Europe
Take the end of a US extention cord, then go to any EU shop, and buy the cheepest $1 radio or alarmclock (with electrical cord) you can get and cut off the cord.

Fix your US plug to the other side, et voila (thats french)
