Just had news from Jimmy Freeman:

"At 2:04 (local India time ) on the 23rd of May Glenn and Heather set a new World BASE altitude record for jumping from just below the 6660 summit of Meru south from a cut ledge at 6604m"



Congratulations Glen, Heather and Jimmy!!

Sounds like they had quite an adventure!

Nice work, I'll be interested to see how much gear they were carrying. From the looks of their kit at Picton at Xmas, they would have been carrying a few extra pounds
