Tracking Question
Hi people, I’m new to skydiving and started skydiving in order to become a base jumper.
Lately I’ve been inspired by the possibility of tracking, it seems somewhat unreal. My question is this one: will it make me a better “base jump tracker“ if I concentrate all my time and energy on tracking during my skydives now? Is it significant enough to do this?
Hope I formulated this in an understandable way.
Thanks.

I find extensive praactice at ski jumping to be very useful in my base tracking skills. Tongue

Go on some tracking dives with some good skydivers. You'll get good with a little practice and some of it does transfer to BASE.

I'm not sure if it willhelp with BASE jumping, but if you're going to do some tracking jumps, check with the insructors at your DZ about where and when you can track.

You cannot just jump out on a solo a track where ever you please. You will run into other jumpers airspace, and create a collision hazzard.

Even if its not good for BASE, tracking is just fun anyway.
