Friday Maggot turned 31. Knowing the real truth of spacetime Maggot actually gets younger each year that passes!

Friday team Ninja (also spelled Ninga, according to Maggot) spent the windy day BASE jumping, painting graffiti, and H&P from planes (pic 1 and 2).

That night, Maggot celebrated his BD doing what he does best (pic 3).

Saturday morning we hit our 300 A (pic 4, 5, 6).

In the afternoon the team took Maggot's GF for her first tandem and speed star (pic 7,8)

That night we hit our 240 S where I hit some trees on landing due to a 120 degree off after a roll-over.

Little Buddy also rolled over and almost died freefalling through a big ass tree after an off-heading as well. We did figure out the reasons behind those off-headings by the way. We are all OK and without injuries!

Maggot, being invincible, made a flawless jump.

No doubt...the Maggot is the only person who I know can celebrate his birthday doing all the crazy sh&t above, posting on DZ.com about Mr. NYC Favorite Jeb Corliss, drinking Gin & Tonics, skydiving, and making 5 BASE Jumps over 2.5 days...he is a true rockstar. It was a helluva weekend, thanks to Ryan, John, and Nick X 2 for joining in the festivities.

Just think everyone else was just posting on dz.com while we fliking!!

Sorry Nick, I hate to do this, but I have to disagree with your post.

A lot of good people did come before maggot and some did pay with their life and limbs, but not so that maggot can base jump.

They paid because they chose to take part (or lead the way) in this ‘sport’.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I am not aware of any base jumpers who jumped to enable others to jump. They all jump because they wanted to.

If they developed techniques and/or gear it was as much (or totally) for their own use and purposes as for the greater good of the base community.

The gear manufacturers sell gear because they want to; no-one is forcing them to. If they are ashamed to see the use ‘their’ equipment is being put to, maybe they should be more selective with their customers.

But we all know that they have to make a living too and money talks. The same with FJCs – offered because the people doing so want to.

I can see why you take exception to maggot’s post and the pictures, but I do not see how what he did disrespected people who were killed or injured doing something for themselves and the enjoyment they derived from it.

FYI, he posted that to get a response, it seems maggot enjoys baiting the dropzone regulars very much.

He is actually a very different jumper in person (as opposed to his online persona) and I am certain if you went to that site to go see the marker for yourself you will not find it as it has been removed.

Okay, what I thought at first turns out to be the case . . . I just wasn't paying enough attention to who you really were.
