has anyone ever tried skydiving into the cave of the swallows in mexico? not neccessarily a full altitude skydive but maybe even like 1000ft or something. just curious

BJ Worth did it from a helicopter at 300ft in the early 90s. I got it on tape around here somewhere.

That would take some serious balls and a lot of self confidence. Hell, I'm not sure balls that big woulf fit through the mouth of the cave...

shit the MF used to jump a stilleto on base jumps thats how bad ass he was show some respect.

BJ Worth's jump from 300 feet above the hole was actually quite a bit more demanding than jumping from the edge. Mark Hewitt, BASE 46, as far as I know was the first to jump from the edge.

The cave has been closed to future jumping as dictated by the Mexican government.

It was compiled by a French TV station 1998 shortly after his death and shows most of his achievements like flying the grand canyon, riding a snowboard over a cliff and jumping the cave of the swallows. ummm, Cesslon have you ever done a base jump? Even a skydive....or a decent lead climb with a good run-out...I'd be reluctant to call a jump into the cave boring...
