Hello guys, I just wanted to know if anyone has done Base Jumping in Colombia. If not, why not?

There are several nice objects to jump here in Colombia. In fact, Medusa has an approved/authorized pending tour of buildings in various cities to jump. There is also a small group of locals who are looking at opening a very nice Cliff that has gobs of potential.Depending on where one is at, getting to the objects can be the hard part as is the proper gear for some.

Is there any particular reason you ask?. Are you from Colombia? Any sites you know?

I just came back from a trip to Colombia and I don't BASE jump at the moment and am not 100% sure what to look for when considering a site but my girlfriend and I went to a place that if jumpable would be an amazing spot. (Massive rock in the middle of a huge valley strewn with probably hundreds of lakes most connecting. This rock comes out of nowhere.) Anybody know if this is jumpable?

The reason why he ask about Colombia and looking at his last name “Pacheco” . I think he is interested because he is Colombian or from a Colombian back round.

And yess, there is plenty of sites jumpable in Colombia 3.000 Ftt and above. We have 3 mountain chain systems coming out of the Andes Mountains. Colombia is the unknown and undiscovered BASE Capital of the world.

Yeahp, like medusa said I am Colombian and that is why I wanted to know if anyone has ever done it in Colombia.
I might be interested and I was just curious so if anybody knows please let US know.
