I'm Interested in getting to BASE, and I was wondering if there is anyone in the new england area that could help me out with doing some ground crew. thanks

You might want to stop by Skydive New England. Saftey day is this saturday (apr 1). Perhaps you'll meet some jumpers there. I hear they much enjoy beer

You might want to start by telling people what sort of related experience you have. Your profile says that you only have 35 skydives. Is this number current? You list climbing as an interest which will help.

The folks at SNE will advise you to take Marta and Jimmy's FJC; great advice. But I definitely encourage you to go skydive at SNE, it's an awesome place to skydive. And they do sometimes need ground crew. But the objects they frequent are not so great for beginners.

If you have 35 skydives, I advise you to forget about BASE and enjoy skydiving, SNE is a great place for this. When you are ready, BASE will come to you.
