Hey Jaap, I used to live in Guildford. There are some jumpers up towards Reading, down towards Portsmouth and of course plenty in London but I never met anyone else around Guildford. Nor did I ever find much to jump locally but there is one thing, pm me if you like.

Not yet, plans changed. Tentative plan says I'm in town from Saturday till Friday. Will be in touch as soon as I have formal itinary.

Tried to hunt you down to go jumping tonight but you seem to have gone to ground. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of jumpers looking to hook you up with a jump so leave some contact details.

I'm seriously caught up in work here, being in meetings all day long, since I got here, till I'm leaving. I've talked to Evil Ivan earlier today though and it appears we'll be hooking up on Thursday.

If somebody has a 240/60/80 for me that I can pack myself and an object that is forgiving as far as forward speed goes (span, overhanging antenna or antenna with massive tailwind), you might be able to pursuade me into killing myself. I'd love to get a jump in with you tossers!

Reaching me is pretty hard. I'm only able to check my email about twice a day here. My cellphone doesn't work here unfortunately.

Anyway, it appears Evil Ivan is coming up with a master plan for Thursday, so I'm looking forward to drinking and maybe jumping with you guys.

I haven't even met you fuckers, and I'm already overwhelmed by the hospitality. I just turned on the TV and both BBC 1 and 2 were running adds: "Have you seen this Canadian BASE jumper? We want to buy him beer!"

Thursday does look like being an evening in. A bit of rain and wind never hurt anyone, but there are limits.

Tonight looks possible though. The weather is very jumpable at the moment, contrary to the forecast.

If our elusive visitor surfaces, we might even be able to offer him a BASE jump in the United Kingdom before he goes.

More meetings tonight unfortunately. I'm caught up from 8 AM till 11 PM.

Tomorrow is the plan! I'm grabbing the train from Guildford to London probably around 6 PM. The plan from there is to jump, drink and then get the Sultan of Brunei to pay for strippers.

Can't wait!

As for thursday ... I'm not sure what the weather's up to ... i guess you're taking him to the big london object that might 'spark" his interest...

i'm not sure of my plans ... mainly because i'm up to my nuts in it ...

But if the weather shits out tomorrow take him to soho - i hear they like dutch boys there !!!!

Otherwise if i can't jump i have a manky 265 troll mdv that might just save his ass !!!

The plan is: I am picking him up and if its not jumpable - which almost def the case - we are heading out to my house (Watford) and drinking.

So far the Sultan isn't answering his calls, so we may be paying for the strippers ourselves...
