How's the weather there right now?

Today was supposed to be bad, but turned out surprisingly good.

Hmmm... what abot the forecast for next weekend?

Like Tom said it supposed to be crappy, but turned out really nice.

I got to the bridge at 09:35 this morning (the walk from my super cheap motel took a bit longer than anticipated, 1 hour and 16 minutes, in fact) and it was a bit cold, but not really windy at all.

No-one showed up to jump till 11:00 when two jumpers from L.A. rolled in, so we got two off, even though the winds had picked up a bit, it was fine.

This afternoon looked even better, but I didn't get any more jumps in due to looking for a bicycle...

I do have a bit of a jumping problem, though and I jump in the winter in Canada,

so the weather will have to suck pretty badly for me to not want to jump...

finally there's jumpers in town and life at the bridge!

a reasonably nice day if it weren't for the 15mph + East winds dominating most of the day, but at least 7 jumpers did at least one jump each today and most got in a few (I'm pretty happy with my 4, especially since I got Tom to pack my rig in return for videotaping him doing it - easiest packjob I ever did... )

anyways, thought the thread could use a *bump*

I have an extra rig available. It's a BlackJack 240 canopy in a velcro container (or I can put it in a pin rig). Does anyone need me to bring them a rig so they can jump? I'm not lugging the rig to TF just so someone can have an extra rig, but if someone seriously needs a rig to jump I will bring it. Let me know.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'll be in town from Friday afternoon until monday.

Okay, last call for that rig. Otherwise, I'm just bringing two for myself.

I'm coming over from Norway this weekend to join the Turkey Boogie and I was hoping to get some jumps in Twin Falls for a couple of days. I'll be in town on Monday (if my jet lag permits) and I hope some other jumpers are around. Never been to Twin Falls before, so it would be nice to have someone to jump with.

What days do you have in mind? I could loan you a rig while I'm in town, but then we're heading off to the land of Cliffs and honey (Moab)

By popular demand, I have cleared my busy schedule and will be in Twin Friday night, until Sunday night.

I think Alex and I are flying the plane out Saturday Night, and jump all day sunday, If Him or me could use one that day it would Be great. I am trying to get one of adams, then i dont have to make alex use a baby parachute (he is 178lbs, my gear is a dagger222) so hopefully that will work out. cheers

will probably go to moab for a cliff or two after perrine-mon/tues, then fly back to boulder to get the rope gear and a few cars. be in moab for turkey boogie wed night, be at walshmans walk bright and early thursday morn, rope jumping by 2pm.

the weather was crazy good today

so much so that our local wonderful-weather barometer, a.k.a. Tom A, came out and did several jumps...

guess having his pilotchute mangled during a daisychain 2 days ago (by me) wasn't enough to scare him off that kind of behaviour for long...

hope this nice weather lasts all weekend, because weather last weekend blew the big one

Watch the weather when I get into town. I'm testing a little theory of mine.

Alex and i, and the Brush crew are flying out from boulder Co wheels up at 19:00MST and will arive at 23:00MST---ISH, at the airport north of town, any possibility of a ride that late? tonight as in saturday the 19th...
and i have not been able to get a rig to pack and bring for alex, so tom if i could use that Mojo, that would be awsome!!!!

Glad to hear you're still alive. Now hurry up and move your ass to Vancouver. We need somebody experienced with Ontarian winters to get our lazy asses into gear and jump in the cold. Did a jump in -1C/29F last week, I'm sure that's warm for you...
