I just had to share these jumps. I thought they were reallly cool and I wanted to thank those that made them possible.

Jump#1:
I got onto Collin's back with my right arm around him. He had my PC in his right hand and I had his PC in my left. We jumped, took about a 1.5sec delay, Collin pitched my PC and I PCA'd him. It was great.

Jump#2:
Collin had to work the exit point so he couldn't participate in this one (bummer).
Tom A. found a guy named Mark (forgot his last name...crap...Mark was his first name wasn't it...?)
So I get on Mark's back just like I did with Collin.

Mark has my PC, I have his, Tom side floats. We go and Mark pitches my PC over to Tom, Tom catches my PC and holds onto it for about a second before he pitches his own PC and proceeds to PCA me and I PCA Mark.

It went pretty well except for the fact that Mark and I went a bit head down. Damn me and freeflying while BASE jumping! I ended up with 5 line twists and only got out of them in time to do a 90 right to miss the huge boulder I was about to land on. Ok, so I had a bit more time than that but not much.

Appearently many people didn't know the plan was for Tom to catch my PC. They thought he did it just to screw with me and Mark. Could you imagine if that was the case?

So, thanks to the three of you guys. I had two great jumps I'll never forget!

This catch and release stuff is getting way out of hand!

Well...

"Nugget" is defined as "a solid lump of a precious metal (especially gold)." And a "golden nugget" is taken to mean, figuratively, "that which is precious."

Further, an informal synonym for "nugget" is "hunk." (I did say, did I not, how handsome he is? Especially his eyes.)

I can play with words all night, Nick. You know that.

So now that I've probably embarrassed him so much that he'll never speak to me again...

The guy is a legend that is for sure, his wheelchair must be re-inforced to support balls that big.

I watched Russels 2nd jump from the exit, it looked great Respect man, that was a hardcore jump.

HEck yeah man, it was awesome to stand among the crowd next to the exit point, hearing them go. "What does this guy think he is doing" and then explaining to them what the situation was. The expression on their faces after hearing that, and then seeing you jump and do what you did was priceless.

I got a dub of some footage from Pyro the morning after. I'll try to put it up somewhere when I have a chance. It might take a bit, as I've only just rolled into town.

Tom is this of our jump or my first jump? Collin has video of my first jump.

Our jump. It's the video we saw in the van, that we couldn't locate that night. Nate found them for me the next morning, but you had already left.

russ.the fact that you put your life in collins hands was pretty ballsy...i'd say a bit more ballsy than actually jumping...but hatts off to collin for the most terrified face on exit! rock on guys. it was awesome to watch. DUDE. i want in on the next jump in TF with you guys. and oh yeah...

tell all those fcukers in west virginia to drive a bit quicker next time ey ?

 

Hey Russell. I was on the exit point and helped load you onto Collin's back. It was my second base jump EVER/first of this year and it REALLY pumped me up to see it man! You made my jump!
