When is a B a B?
At what stage does an object become a B.? If it is just steel framework is it a B.? Or does it need to be further along in construction first?

Well, it's not an A if it's just the framework... and neither E nor S... so I say B.

I think if it's your qualifying jump for that category, then it should be a classic example of that category. If it's your first cliff, make sure it's a cliff. If it's your first building, make sure it's clearly a building.

Other than that, just log it as a BASE jump and have a good time. I don't put the category of object in my logbook at all. I just write a brief description of the jump, exit point, gear, weather, who was on the load, etc.

I don't worry about categories.

You know Faber even logs scary skydives as BASE jumps. I looked through his logbook and he only has about five actual BASE jumps in thereWink.

Hello,
It's a B when it's not a duck.
