Hard openings and Dan Osman
After watching several BASE videos, it looks like the hard openings could do some damage. Compared to Dan Osman's rope jumping they sometimes appear even more vicious. Did Dan do himself physical harm (through rope jumping that is, not all the other crazy stuff!), and how bad is the stop at the end of a ropejump compared to a hard opening.
Also, how did Dan orient himself? I can't see how he managed to keep the rope oriented and make sure he falls right, he doesn't apply a whole lot of aerodynamics by the looks of it.
