Okay!

In just a few short weeks, the US will experience a crisis of epic proportions.

Faber and PeterC will be unleashed on American soil. The trip will begin in Seattle on July 14th and wind its way down the west coast, culminating in 4 days at the Potato bridge.

We will be at the Bridge from July 29th until the morning of August 2nd.

If anyone on the west coast wants to make a jump with these crazy Danes, PM me and we'll try to make it happen. The schedule is flexible right now but we are planning so it will get harder to adapt the closer we get to the trip.

i hope youve got plenty of sub 300 stuff for the lazy boy!!

I spoke to Faber this afternoon (it was 6:30am there and they were just having breakfast) and he sounded fucked......... having got there, he has had 5 hours sleep and made 3 jumps one of which was 500ft and he did not sound happy about being forced to climb that high!! hahahaahhaahahahahah

Most jumpers on this rock are recommend to go slider-down on their first jump. The shape of the face can freak first-timers out causing them to pitch too early, so slider-down is better for the first jump. I'm pretty sure that Faber's second attempt there will be slider up.

Besides as i have the min. 6 secs rule about slider up,im not gonna jump that cliff slider up... besides i thing doing a 3 sec dealy slider off will improve your lz posibilityes by 30%or so which i in that case thing is a better option...

Nope, it's a day of rest for them, and a day of work for me so my part of the venture has most likely come to an end. Yesterday we did something really silly. Sorry for the sight naming but in this case I believe it's ok.

We trekked over to Six Flags Marine World. Peter and Faber have never ridden good roller coasters before so we spent the day riding roller coasters and watching dolphin and killer whale shows.

The night before, we hucked a 360 foot power tower under a beautiful moonlit sky. After that we were on our way to climb a very tall antenna. The wind was not going the usual direction which left a large field of corn to land in. Ever land in corn? I don't recommend it. The field was being irrigated as well so the mud content was very high so we bailed on that idea.

The replacement jump, which was mighty nice to watch, was a flick from a famous local S.

The jump we made a few days ago was from another S with quite a spectacular view. From there we drove to yet another location... a couple hours drive away. Chad, Peter and Faber made their first and second ground launches.

I don't like to ruin Fabers rep but he's quite articulate and not so lazy as he'd like you to believe.

Peter and Faber, it's been a pleasure meeting you and taking you to a couple of the local objects. Untill we meet again... stay safe.

Chad, you stay safe as well, it's been a blast.

Tim, you are the man. I always learn new stuff when I hang around you. Thanks for showing us that absolutely amazing power tower. That's going to be a hard jump to reproduce, even at the same site. Everything was just... right. I was stunned at the beauty of the moment. Kinda wish my Katie was there.

We're "recharging our batteries" today, and packing up so we can turn it back on tonight.

We'll be off in a few minutes to go scope out some scary cliffs that I don't believe anyone has jumped. We'll see what happens with that.

Faber loved the ground launching. I couldn't believe it, but Tim actually found a way to make him WANT to hike. He actually climbed that hill twice!!! Believe that!?

Well, the Danes have been having a good time. We have a few more days here before we head to TF for more good times and cold beer.

Yeah i hiked that 565ft hill 2 times after i had hiked that 240ft hill aswell,but as you guys saw i had a hard time by my leg after that,i really hoped that i wouldnt feel it on this trip but there we go..

How ever i cant belive how fun it were to Groundlaunching,i deafently goona look for spots in DK and get a smaller canopy for that(even as my Flik did a good job there).
It were way fun to see Chad tumbling across the hill,desperate to get control of his canopyat the end he got it and made a nice flight

Yesterday we went Rollercoasting,funny things they are,specialy when you see other BASEjumpers screaming like girls there(CHAD),however we all made unbeliveble "Tracks " and "swoops" from them realy fun...The Dolphins and killer whales were just perfect i have never seen anything like that.. how cool is that... i give them 9 out of 10(as BASE is 10)

Well I believe I have witnessed the impossible, Faber with a slider doing tard overs! You guys must have worked him over on this trip as he wasnt the same guy I watched Paraglide off the 950' E a couple weeks ago.
Faber I believe has found his nirvana, dont pack, walk 3 min to exit, land , walk 50' to a boat waiting to haul his ass to a waiting air conditioned ride back to exit. He was all smiles!

To Faber and Peter,

I know that you guys could have picked a lot of places to visit, and there were a ton of BASE jumpers who would have been glad to show you around. I was truly honored that you guys would decide to share this trip with us.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle, well, we do still have one more Dane for another week or so, I have been reflecting on the last couple of weeks. It really was an amazing ride. I had to come back to work just to get some rest.

It was a treat showing you around and helping you guys jump some famous objects here (and a couple not so famous ones... shhhh..... )

Good times with good people. Some new objects for me. Laughs, smiles and beer. Spending time with people like you is really what this sport is all about, the jumps are cool too, but this sport is about life and enjoying it. You showed me a good time!

To everyone who helped us out along the way; Bill, Alan, Ray, Sandy, Spence, Tim, Tom, Cheri, MOM! (she doesn't read or post here but she was a great sport.) and everyone in Twin Falls... THANK YOU! I owe you all.

It was a trip sitting in a room with the Danes and 15 of my family members watching BASE video on the big screen, and the only thing they found questionable was my choice of words when I landed in a stream.

Edit: An interesting fact and a testament to BASE jumpers: Faber and Peter were here for 21 days. Not once did they need to stay in a hotel room. How many communities are like that?
