I think for Skin's release from internet purgatory we should show up in a big black Hearse with a hooker in the back . . .

I fully understand Tom's dilemma, but we are BASE jumpers, and BASE boys and girls we'll always be BASE boys and girls. I don't think (in general) the same rules that apply to the rest of DZ.com should apply here.

After all, we tend to color outside the lines . . .

But that's the critical issue. This is dz.com, so those rules do apply even to this forum.

Tom does a great job--better than most of the moderators I know--and, IMO, he enforces the rules here with a very light hand, in spite of the accusations made by a biased few--you know who you are--who project bias on him.


Dopamine will fix you right up for that hand tremor.

Okay, but even as I know Tom, and realize he's one of the best of his generation, I will always have a soft spot for those who walk around like they are going to step on a land mine. In a way it shows the proper amount of real paranoia these crazy days demand. Too many of us are acting like everything is alright, too many of us are ready to just listen and go along, and too many of us don't speak up, just because it's easier.

BTW, I'm not sure the above has anything to do with BASE jumping . . .
