Before couple of weeks i saw a video of basejumper who use PF pants whit the the belts of the harness outside!? Are the working like that as well?I'm not sure..

I'm fairly certain that the harness will restrict the airflow and reduce their effectiveness.

So, yeah, I guess they work. But they don't work as well as they were designed to, or as well as they will if you put the harness inside.
