Hi all;

Just wanted to post to let you know that due to popular demand, permission slips to jump my bridge (the IB perrine Memorial bridge in Twin Falls, Id, ie. "JT's bridge") will be granted to all jumpers free of charge for the memorial day weekend.

I think it is going to be really fun and the more the merrier, right? , so come on out to Twin find me (JT Holmes) and request a permission slip and then jump and have fun. If you want a permission slip in advance, just post your address here and your name and I will send you one.

I sure hope you are in TF May 12 through 17th. It would be the highlight of my trip to get to meet you in person.

Huh? There are more than one bridge in TF to jump? You don't need permission slips? I'm either confused, gullible (might be) or misinformed. Which is it?

No permission slips are needed. Whenever JT's mom lets him eat too much sugar he gets all wound up and posts a lot of foolish things. He was trying to "stir the pot", but like many adolescents, he doesn't realize how much smarter the adults are. Your best bet is to ignore him.

These are personal attacks. I've banned you from this forum for 7 days. Note that the "normal" ban period for a PA is 14 days, but given the way that JT was obviously trying to bait people, we'll go with 7 for this one.

Even though JT is essentially posting flame bait, in the effort (apparently) to get a rise out of people, there are still rules we have to play by in these forums.

What is the point of posting things like this? Are you just hoping to get people fired up, and angry with you? Why would you want to do that?
