what are the pros and cons, if any, of a non vented ZP 47" PC over a non vented ZP 48" PC ? For what kind of a jump would this 1" difference be of any significance ?

The common sizes are 45" or 46" (depending on manufacturer) and 48". 2" matters, ask any chick.

If I was worried that a 47" would not be enough I sure wouldn't jump it with a 48" either. I really don't think you would notice a difference. I just got one of those 47" PC the other day.

 
i dont think that in certain (most) situations a 42 over a 46 matters................ in fact I would prefer a 42 over a 46.........so bothering about 1" to me is just not worth worrying about..............

Pack volume.

If you're a thalidamide victim going low, hand held with a super mushroom then the 1" may make a difference.

Especially since your're lower to the ground to begin with.

Try holding it with your toes...either of them.

I recommend reading the other thread on PC sizing. Depending on design and construction, a "47" could have more drag than a "48".
