Mexico Big Wall review
Hello all
I want to thank Jay, Damian, and Ben of Adrenaline Exploits for a great trip to the biggest and narliest wall in México. Also Avery ,Brian, Jason, and Brice for a great time and spectacular jumps we did.

Avery, Brice, Jason, Brian and myself were there for the first time last week , and we jumped many times from this 953 mt wall, the visuals are like nothing I have ever seen before, this is a great place.
The landing area is very small and you really have to work to land inside, If you land outside of the perimeter you might land in what we call "Traumatown " on one side , and "ER alley" on the other Pirate. Fortunately nobody got hurt in our trip.
This is not a place for beginners I wouldn´t recommend that, you can get seriously hurt in this wall.
The jumps were awesome Avery flied his Wingsuit very close to the wall Shocked, this is a canyon so you can´t go straight or you might hit the wall on the other side , even with Phoenix fly pants we were making it to the other side of the canyon so we had to start flying in a pattern which gave great visuals, Brian , Brice, Jason,Damian Jay and I were doing aerials, tracking dives, 3 ways, etcc..
attached are some images of how close to the wall we were flying (and yes this was on purpose) Sly
Hope you like them !!
If you guys want to go to this place contact Jay or Damian , this is not a place where you can go by yourself and jump , the hike out takes forever so a Helicopter is really necessary ,especially if things go wrong and you get hurt ,if there is no Heli you are done Pirate
Once again thank you guys for a wonderful time and the best jumps of my life (this is my favorite place so far)
Right now there is a second trip going on I hope they have a great time there too.

I liked the big mexican rock so much in 2003 that I'm headed back down this weekend.

The last time the landing area with trees and hill on all four sides was a bit exciting for my tastes. So for the last few weeks I've been doing accuracy out of airplanes with my Fox and Dagger.

What an absolutely amazing trip!!!

Sick visuals, narly landing areas, complex winds, long delays, great food, awesome company, solitude... what more could you want from a BASE journey??

It was great meeting you Gabo, keep up the good work down in Mexico.

I'll work on getting some pictures downloaded but Jay still has most of them... I think between all of the cameras there ended up being around 2100 pictures taken!!

Jay, Ben and Damian... you guys rule! Thanks for running such an awesome adventure. Avery, Brian, Gabo, Brice, Annie and Lisa... thanks for the great company and a great birthday!

Jason

Re: [Gabo] Mexico Big Wall review
Hello Everyone --

I was on the first load from March 1-11 and all I can say is WOW!

No picture or video can describe the beauty of this place. I had an absolute blast and HIGHLY recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking of going. It is a once in a lifetime experience.

Imagine falling asleep next to a warm fireplace. When you wake up, you roll out of bed and put on your rig, and walk about 100 yards to a waiting helicopter. Hop in and within 30 seconds of take-off, your flying in a canyon that looks like the Garden of Eden.

Minutes later you're perched on top of a high summit. Off to the side is a 2,100ft waterfall, but that's not what your focused on...your attention is directed to the 3,000ft drop right at the edge of your feet.

After 18ish seconds of freefall, you open up in a tight canyon and your only real option is a small landing area cut out of the side of a hill in the jungle. Other than that, your only other options are the trees, the boulders, or the rushing river. It is not a sight for the timid, faint of heart, or the ill-prepared.

After jumping till your heart's content, you hop into the helicopter for the short flight back to the ranch. If you have a packed rig, the pilot will give you a gentle nod and a smile as you climb down and hang from the helicopter's skids 2,000ft above the ranch. After letting go and sucking it down to a few hundred feet above the cabins, you open up and swoop right back to your cabin door.

The rest of the day is spent eating some of the best food you've ever had, drinking Tecates, packing, and taking siestas (not necessarily in that order).

Go to bed. Repeat the next day. And lose all sense of time.

I would like to take a moment to thank Jay Epstein-Ramiriz for one of the best trips of my life. It was organized very well and you took very good care of us from start to finish. With that being said, the trip could not have gone as well as it did without Ben Nieland and Damian -- thank you guys for all that you do.

Group dynamics between the jumpers was fantastic!

Gabriel -- it was an honor to meet you and spend the week jumping and hanging out together. Keep up the great work in Mexico!

Jason and Lisa: I had a blast getting to know you two better! I really appreciated your hospitality back on your home turf and it was even more fun spending 10 days together on this trip. Be sure to let me know when you head out West so we can show you our finest exit points. And way to hang in there during your B-day celebration -- impressive to say the least!

Bryce and Annie: You two rock! Bryce-man, you're one heck of a fine jumper and I love your style. I'm looking forward to many a cool adventure in our home region. Oh yeah, is it a Black C___!

Avery: Bro, all I can say is "You're Living up to it!". You were flying map-of-the-earth along the cliff's features and showing us all a taste of the magic that only a wingsuit can provide. And your 2-way with Damian from the 900ft waterfall was Ill! It was great hanging out with you on this trip and I look forward to many more.

In summary, this was a trip with memories that will last a lifetime and smiles that will last forever.

Thanks guys! Smile

Yo!!!

Yup, EXACTLY what Gabo, Jason, Bryan....all said, and much more!!!
I got home Sunday from the BEST vacation I've had, the BIG WALL in Mexico is an incredible place!!! Long delays over that intense landing area made for the most exciting and rewarding jumps to date for me SmileSmile
All of my expectations were blown away, from the jumps to the accommodations to the foodBlush....but especially the people!
Jay and his team, Damian, Blake, Ben,....Felix the pilot, Don F and his wife and the list goes on.....
What a beautiful place at the ranch, we were less than 10min. flight to the cliff each morning as we were able to jump every day but one. (weather) This is a world class expedition from beginning to end!!!Smile
In addition to sharing all the praises of this trip, I would also echo Gabo's thoughts on the challenges of the jump itself. You must be able to track, and you must be able to fly steep approaches to a small landing area, with no outs.....NONE! The Adrenaline Exploits crew does a great job monitoring the winds at all times, however it is ultimately the jumpers responsibility to land on target each time regardless of conditions.
Lastly just a real heartfelt THANK YOU to Jay, Damian, Blaine...uumm I mean BlakeTongue, and Ben for helping me to live my dreams, there is only two words left to sum it all up......FUCK YEEEAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!Wink

How far ( in term of travelling time ) is it from Mexico city?

I'm asking as I may have to fly to Mexico city for a short time.

Of course, almost any cliff you can walk/climb to. This is not to say a helicopter is good for emergency, but to say you need it to get there is not quite true.

If you are trying to keep people away, starting a large discussion on an internet forum, with photos, the name of the place, and links to video probably isn't the wisest course of action.
