Hello, I am looking for radio antenna's that can be climbed in the vicinity of Las Vegas, hour drive or so is ok!

It is best to start small. Just look for a homeowner who has a 30 or 40 foot television antenna aerial. Really, for the cost of driving an hour, you can probably buy an old one. They come in 10 foot sections and you can install it in your back yard. Once you get the exits from about thirty feet down solid, come back and ask about gear. You won't need a parachute until you get higher than 30 feet.
