I HAVE A QUESTION TO ALL.IF YOU HAD A BAD ACCIDENT DOING A JUMP,WOULD YOU WANT YOUR VIDEO OUT THERE?MY VIDEO GOT TO A PERSON BY ACCIDENT AND NO MATTER WHAT I SAY OR DO THIS PERSON WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK.THEY THINK IT IS ALL ABOUT PRIDE,BUT IT'S ALSO THE FACT THAT IT IS MYSELF AND MY BEST FRIEND WHO NEARLY GOT KILLED.NOT HIM!THIS PERSON LOVES TO COLLECT CARNAGE VIDEO.I REALLY WISH TOM WOULD LET ME NAME THIS PERSON BECAUSE HE IS BEING A REAL ASS.LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK PEOPLE?

My oppinion has always been that people on video should be asked before any edit or use of the video.
the same takes about premission to use others videos as a part of a personal video.
I cant belive that a person wont give you back that kind of video,sounds like he would liked to be videoed as he gets beated up....

As far as the ethics of the situation? If you don't want it floating around, I think he ought to erase it on your request. I know I've done this with several videos I shot of various accidents. I had one particularly gnarly bit of footage (from a two way gone wrong, where I was the guy who was ok, and first to provide aid, all still wearing my camera) that I taped over in the ambulance.

As far as video of me? If it's been shot, I'd like to see it, to try to analyze it. As far as showing it to others? Sure. Hopefully there will be some educational value, and if not that, at least entertainment value. We all make mistakes. Anyone who thinks they could do better every time either doesn't remember their entire BASE career or is fooling themself.

While we're on the topic, I'll repeat my wishes for any footage that might be shot of me going in: Please don't tell my family that it exists, or show it to them, but otherwise feel free to use and show it however. Oh, and don't give Yuri a copy, because I think that would be a good joke.

If someone had video of me in that state I would deffinately want it back. Because of pride or whatever reason. That is very personal footage. I wouldn't bother posting their name,I would kick the crap out of them. If they're so into carnage video,video tape it they can have their very own.

If this was a "Killer BASE jump" and you pulled off the most impressive of feats, than I know you would want it aired!!

If you make a jump and it is videoed, than you get what is shot!!!

sure,but thinking of a person showing me getting fucked up to people that i dont want to see it or treat the video in a way that i cant be sure they wont see it at some point sure gets my angry attention

violens is never good,getting the anger out is... it just depend on the way you do it
