Gee... who might the second response be from?

Let's make a jump this week and smoke it down together.

We might want to modify the language slightly to say lowest "intentional" pull at terminal. I know of at least one terminal pull that was well below 200 (not me) and definitely NOT intentional.

As a joke, I should subdivide it to something like:

Choice 1: 0-10 feet
Choice 2: 10-50 feet
Choice 3: 50-100 feet
etc...

I have opened(not thrown out) below 200ft from terminal on many occasions. I think the shortest canopy ride I have had from terminal was around 5-6 seconds.
Once you start to do these jumps with frequency you are (or think you are) able to dial in your openings to within 20-30ft and I found myself pushing it more to the edge and pulling lower and lower as I did more of these. Then there came a point when I realized that these jumps relied on a perfect case scenario where everything goes correctly and I know that many times things can happen; a PC hesi or a half second bobble will kill you very easily, so I raised my opening alt's. Now, I'm under canopy by 200-300 ft on most terminal jumps, although I might drift back into the zone and hum it down on occasion as well

Can you clarify if you mean "initiated deployment" or "had a landable canopy"? Or some other definition of "opened"?

You might also want to specify if you mean wingsuit or not, because it is physically possible to initiate successful deployment from wingsuit flight, because the deployment consumes some horizontal distance in place of the normal vertical altitude.
